I’ve just returned to my room from the first session of the 2008 Innovate Church Conference with a renewed appreciation for what God is doing in His Kingdom. The ministries entrusted to Jonathan Falwell and Rick Warren have the hand of God upon them, and for this, I praise Him! I am committed to praying for these men-my brothers-in the days ahead for I’ve truly been inspired through my time in God’s presence tonight. I’m prayerfully anticipating the same tomorrow…for God is faithful.

I happened onto this conference while bringing my daughter to LU. WOW! I heard Rick Warren and Chuck Colson. I’ll be inspired by Jim Cymbala and others as they speak and The Lord speaks to me. I can just immagine the encouragement gained by church leaders from the breakout sessions. My pastor is amazing, and I’m sure he could use the encouragement of this conference. I can’t wait to get home to share my excitement.

I am a 24-year-old Senior Pastor of a congregation with 80-90 on a Sunday morning. Although God is blessing my congregation, I have often felt insecure and worthless regarding my role in this ministry. I needed this conference to encourage me to continue and remember that it is God who does the work. I pray that my church and community is ready for the work of the Lord that we are going to see in the future in Indiana!!!!
